Springfield native Ben Bedford will be making his first appearance at The Princeton Coffeehouse. Ed Becker, of KDHX in St. Louis, calls him "a brilliant songwriter and performer". Bedford was named to the Chicago Tribune's list of the "50 most significant singer-songwriters of the past 50 years". His songs chronicle historical figures and events, including Jack London, the Cherry Mine Disaster, Amelia Earhart, and Emmett Till.
