Brought to you by the Princeton Chamber Ambassador Club
"8 Things You Need To Know About Protecting Your Community Against Meth"
Stop Meth Now!
Friday, February 6, 2009
12:00 - 1:00 pm
Prouty Building - 435 S. Main St.
It is free of charge to all business owners, employees, staff and the community.
Special Agent Darrin Devine and Special Agent Aaron Harsy from the Illinois State Police District 5 out of Joliet, Illinois will be presenting their expertise on Meth.
Why would this presentation be beneficial to you?
- Be aware of the everyday items that are used to produce meth. You could have these items for sale at your business.
- Preventing meth production in our community can equal a healthier, more productive workforce. Workers with substance abuse issues can mean lost profits through decreased productivity, tardiness, absenteeism, poor performance, poor workmanship, work related accidents and injuries, property damage, theft, rising medical expenses, increased worker's compensation costs, increased employee turnover, additional training costs, and negative morale amongst those workers that do not abuse alcohol or use drugs but are forced to work with co-workers that are not safely or effectively performing their jobs.
Although this is a free event, you have the option of ordering a boxed lunch (or you may bring your own). For those of you interested, the cost of the boxed lunch is $6.50 a person. Should you choose to order one, please let us know no later than Wednesday, February 4th so we may get the order in.
The boxed lunches consist of either a chicken salad sandwich with lettuce on white bread or ham and cheese sandwich on white bread, along with homemade potato chips, cookie and either tea or lemonade. Please specify which type of sandwich you would like when ordering.

The Communities Against Substance Abuse Coalition (CASA), North Central Behavioral Health System (NCBHS) and the Bureau/Putnam County Health Department are working together to present the latest news regarding an epidemic that is sweeping across the Midwest.
Together, we can help prevent this epidemic from affecting Bureau County.
