Journeys with Kit, Ruthie, Molly and Emily - American Girls

A program for young people.  Learn about life during the Great Depression while experiencing hands-on baking and how these times affected the way meals were prepared. Led by Rachel Bystry. * Children under 7 must have an adult companion.  Journey Stories: A Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition is open to the public from November 18 – December 29 during the regular operating hours of the Princeton Public Library in Princeton, Illinois.   Many local programs and films will be presented as part of the Journey Stories exhibition; a cooperation between Princeton Public Library, the Smithsonian Institution and the Illinois Humanities Council.
