Journeys During WWII - A Program for Young People
Hear about incredible journeys from WWII veterans; learn to write and decipher secret code and how to construct a bomb shelter. Led by Rachel Bystry. Children under 7 must have an adult companion. Journey Stories: A Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition is open to the public from November 18 – December 29 during the regular operating hours of the Princeton Public Library in Princeton , Illinois . Many local programs and films will be presented as part of the Journey Stories exhibition; a cooperation between Princeton Public Library, the Smithsonian Institution and the Illinois Humanities Council.
