Chicago Rhythm and Blues Kings Roll Into Princeton January 23
The Chicago Rhythm and Blues Kings will return to Princeton for a one-night only show. They last played in Princeton over Homestead weekend in 2009.
The band has been blasting out their own soul-steeped brand of R&B and blues since March of 1993. Tenor saxman Terry Ogolini and trumpeter Don Tenuto comprise one of Chicago’s tightest horn sections, while bassist Bob Halaj and guitarist David Mick continue to cook up sizzling rhythms, anchored by drummer Willie Hayes.
Joining the band for the Princeton performance will be a frequent guest, the legendary saxophonist and vocalist, Gene “Daddy G” Barge. Barge’s career as a performer, producer, and arranger encompasses more than fifty years of Chicago blues history.
Beer and wine will be available for purchase in the Grace’s Lobby Bar.
The Grace Performing Arts Center is completely accessible and ample free parking is available nearby.
