Setting the table for the holidays in three different eras, from 19th century formality, to mid-century Modern, to today’s contemporary look, Flowers by Julia and Hoffman’s Patterns of the Past will describe how the fashion reflects the life and times of each. Journey Stories: A Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition is open to the public from November 18 – December 29 during the regular operating hours of the Princeton Public Library in Princeton , Illinois . Many local programs and films will be presented as part of the Journey Stories exhibition; a cooperation between Princeton Public Library, the Smithsonian Institution and the Illinois Humanities Council.
