Dinner Table Program: Come and Get It

Dr. Robert Dirks, Emeritus Professor of Anthropology, Illinois State University, discusses the changing foodways of the Midwest, from self-sufficiency to fast-food and supermarket convenience foods. Hosted by the Bureau County Farm Bureau.  Journey Stories: A Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition is open to the public from November 18 – December 29 during the regular operating hours of the Princeton Public Library in Princeton, Illinois.   Many local programs and films will be presented as part of the Journey Stories exhibition; a cooperation between Princeton Public Library, the Smithsonian Institution and the Illinois Humanities Council.
