Curtis & Loretta in concert

The Princeton Coffeehouse presents folk duo Curtis & Loretta in concert on Saturday, March 27, 2010 at 7:30 p.m.  Opening for them will be February Sky, a duo formed in 2007 by Phil Cooper & Susan Urban.  Curtis Teague and Loretta Simonet primarily perform original material, but have recorded songs from the publis domain and compositions of songwriters Stephen Foster, Leonard Cohen and Woodie Guthrie.  The number of stringed instruments filling the stage will be an impressive signt by itself, as the duo will accompany their vocals with guitar, mandolin, Celtic harp, mandocello, ukulele. and clawhammer banjo.  In 2002, City Pages named them the "Best Acoustic Performers of the Twin Cities."
