DESCRIPTION:The Princeton Coffeehouse proudly presents Suzzy Roche\, of the Roches vocal group and her daughter Lucy Wainwright Roche.\n\n \nLucy Wainwright Roche returns to The Princeton Coffeehouse on September 23rd. This time it's on the Fall 2017 Mother/Daughter/Dog Tour\, along with her mom\, Suzzy Roche. Suzzy is best known as being 1/3 of the vocal group\, The Roches. Their self-titled debut record was recently named on NPR's list of 150 Greatest Albums Made By Women.\n\n \n\nThe Roches got their start as backup singers for Paul Simon. Over the years\, they released 11 albums\, and appeared on Saturday Night Live and the Tonight Show.\n\n \n\nLucy's dad is Grammy Award winner Loudon Wainwright III\, and she's a half-sister to singer-songwriters Martha Wainwright and Rufus Wainwright. She's won awards at the Falcon Ridge Folk Festival and the Kerrville Folk Festival. Mary Chapin Carpenter\, the Indigo Girls and Colin Meloy of The Decemberists have been featured on her solo recordings.
