MEET LARRY...LaSalle Canal Boat Ride&LaSalle County Historical Society MuseumThursday\, July 9\, 2009 Join the PMH 60 Plus Group on a day trip to the Lock 16 Visitor Center in LaSalle\, IL to enjoy a historic canal boat ride on the I & M Canal.  Prior to the one-hour\, roundtrip journey on a full-size replica canal boat\, the group will meet Matt the mule tender and Larry\, Mo & Curly.  After the boat ride the group will travel to historic Utica\, IL for some free time and lunch or shopping prior to visiting the LaSalle County Historical Society Museum which includes the one-room Aiken Schoolhouse\, blacksmith shop and barn. $35 per person. (Cost covers transportation\, boat ride and admission to the museum.  The cost of lunch is NOT included.) Reservations and payments are due prior to June 23rd.  Please call Melody at 815-876-4454.
