SUMMARY:Living Works Suicide Walk
DESCRIPTION:Community walk for suicide prevention. Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. at Darius Miller Park. The walk begins at Darius Miller and ends at Zearing Park and is 2.1 miles in length. We will celebrate the affirmation of life with a barbecue\, presentations\, Music by 212\, a balloon release for those wishing to remember those whom they have lost. Proceeds from the event will be used to send 2 local people to a five day Living Works "Train the Trainer" workshop in Colorado so we can hold our own 2 day ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) workshops in our communities.
