DESCRIPTION:High School is hosting a Jazz Night\, Saturday\, May 1st\, 2010\, in the PHS cafeteria. The event will feature an introductory Swing Dance lesson\, taught by Champaign-Urbana swing instructor John Holmstrom. This lesson is open to all ages\, and no partner is required. It is intended to prepare the audience to dance the night away as they enjoy the performances of the Logan Jr. High Jazz Band\, as well as the PHS Jazz Band. Local trumpet player Jim Jones will be featured. Appetizers  will also be served. \n\n\n\n The dance lesson begins at 6pm\, with the Logan Jr. High Jazz Band kicking off the musical performances at 6:30pm. Admission is $5\, $4 for Seniors and Students with their school ID.
