Proceeds from this event will go to the University of Illinois Extension\, Bureau County Office to support their 4-H and Youth Education Programs\; proceeds will be matched with State Funding and directed to local programs and services for Bureau County Youth.  The class will focus on a Harvest Theme. Enjoy learning how to cook and\, of course\, taste specialties from Chef Monika at Chestnest Street Inn in Sheffield.  Chef Monika specializes in cuisines surrounding the Mediterranean\, taking advantage of the freshest local seasonal produce and meats.  Learn to prepare Crispy Butternut Swuash Raviolis\, Potato Pancakes\, Pumpkin Soup\, Beef and Sweet Potato Tagine\, Potato Leek and Goat Cheese Gratin\, Carrot and Parsnip Puree\, and Sweet Potato Pots de Cremes. All Chef Monika's recipes are simple and easy to prepare at home.  By coming to this Fundraiser Cooking Class for the University of Illinois Extension\, Bureau County Office you can help support their 4-H and Youth Education Programs and prepare delicious foods for your family too!
